Make Something Out Of Unused Ornaments

I bought so much Christmas ornaments last year that I still have so much left. I already have our Christmas tree up but it is just about 3ft in height that it is already filled with Christmas ornaments. I couldn't used all the ornaments that I bought from last year's Christmas sale! I bought so much because we have a 7-ft Christmas tree but unfortunately we didn't have the space for now to put it in the house, so it's been sitting in our storage building for the past 2 years!. I love our 7-ft Christmas tree, we bought it brand new at Kmart over 3 or 4 years ago and we only used it twice!

Anyway, I hated to see so much brand new ornaments sitting in the container unused ! So I decided to make something out of it which is pictured above. I call it ornament chandelier because it kind of reminds me of a chandelier. The first picture is what I made yesterday. I used 3 bamboo skewers to hold the ornaments. I tied it with ribbons to hold the skewers together and then used more ribbons to hand the ornaments! The second picture I made just this morning. I like it way better than the first one! The base or what's holding the ornaments is a Christmas wreath that I also bought on sale last year! I thought it was just perfect to hang those beautiful ornaments!

I still have plenty of ornaments left and I am planning on making some more of these to try to sell to our Christmas Bazaar for our church. My mother-in-law suggested it after seeing what I made the first time and she thought it was beautiful! These are actually very easy to make. You can use ribbons to hang the ornaments or fish line which I used in the second picture! ;)
