Selling Some Outgrown Clothes!

I recently posted some of my 6-year old son's outgrown clothes. It's better this way that we are getting a little bit of money from it. I listed about 14 pieces of tops there earlier this afternoon and they are already sold. I tell you, buying new clothes are very expensive so I can perfectly understand why some people prefers to buy used ones. And even the used ones can be very costly too, it depends where you buy them.

Just like a week ago, me and my mother-in-law went to this consignment shop consists of over 1400 families gathered in one roof, oh yeah, there was a lot of stuff there I tell you. I spent almost $40 bucks for 4 outfits, 2 jackets and two toys. I find the price acceptable for those clothes and toys that I bought were gently used items and mostly are like-new conditions. However my mother-in-law spent over $100 there just for my boys. I understand that she loves her grandkids very much but I don't think I would ever spend that kind of money on used items. Not to mention a week before that, she spent over 200 bucks buying new school clothes for my oldest son and some for my youngest son.

I mean I really hate for her to spend that kind of money on my kids but at the same time I am grateful that there is somebody that wants to help us providing some of my kid's needs. Unlike when I was growing up, we hardly had something to wear. It was tough for my mama for she had to provide all the necessity for 6 kids without anybody's help. But occasionally, her bosses will give out some of their old clothes and it will just thrill us to death whenever my mama comes home with somebody elses clothing! It's like we are getting new clothes!

Anyway, I am truly grateful that my kids don't have to experience that. This money that I am getting from selling my son's outgrown clothes will be saved for future use to buy him some new clothes when he needs it!
