FoodTripFriday #3: Easy Fix Dinner!

The picture above is what we had for supper tonight, London Broil and asparagus. We usually have 2 sides but I only cooked one tonight because there was plenty of asparagus. Anyhow, for those of you who are meat lovers, I am sharing this London Broil recipe that has been one of my favorite meat to cook for supper. Not only it taste yummy but also very easy to fix! My mother-in-law is the one who introduced us this recipe, she saw this recipe on one of Food Network's shows "30 Minute Meal". This is a cheap alternative for steak. Below are the step by steps on how to make it...

You will need:
London Broil Meat
Worcestershire Sauce
Garlic Salt

What to do:
Turn the oven to broil position. Poke meat with fork and sprinkle with garlic salt on both sides (you may want to sprinkle meat tenderizer as well to make sure the meat is really tender). Next, brush Worcestershire sauce on both sides of the meat (I usually just pour the sauce on the meat and rub it on it). Put the meat in a shallow pan, put in the oven, cook for 6 minutes or longer each on both sides (I cook mine about 10 minutes to ensure it will be medium rare). Once cooked on both sides take out from the oven and slice thinly across the grain, serve with your preferred sides!

Now isn't that easy? There's also another way I cook mine sometimes. Earlier, before I cooked mine, I let the meat set with the sauce and garlic salt on it for about 3 hours, that way, there's a plenty of time for the sauce and garlic salt to soak into the meat and give it more flavor. I will advice you to eat the whole meat once it's cooked for it taste much better when it's freshly cooked otherwise if the meat is too big for you and your family, you can cut it in half and save the other half for later!
