Handmade Coffee Table Centerpiece!

Picture above is a coffee table centerpiece that I made last week. Flowers and butterflies always adds beauty to ones home no matter if they're fake or real. These materials that I used to make this centerpiece all came from Goodwill except for the butterfly. Total cost including the butterfly is around 5 bucks. When I saw the potpourri dish at Goodwill for 2 dollars, I knew that I got to have it coz I could make something out of it. So above is what I came up with. It's so very easy to make. Below is the step by step on how I made this centerpiece!

Okay, first thing I did was gathered all the materials to make the centerpiece. I only had the potpourri dish, styrofoam ball, artificial flowers and glue gun. You don't really have to copy exactly what I got on here, you can use anything you desire...

Next, I cut the styrofoam ball in half so it would lay flat in the dish and then glued it in it. See picture below...

Okay, now this is the fun part but I wanna say something first before proceeding. I would have covered the styrofoam with artificial moss but I did not have any available. I advice anybody to use moss so that the styrofoam wouldn't show. Anyway continuing to the topic, what I did is picked out a flower to be the center and then working down until the styroafoam ball is covered. You can arrange the flowers however you want it!

And then finally, the finished product below...Don't you think it's cute? I know that I made this but I really like it!

Yesterday while I was out, I bought more artificial flowers and added some more on my centerpiece. This is what it looks like now...I like it even better!
