Fresh from the garden!

The other day, we finally had our first harvest from our garden this year! The picture above is a mixture of Romaine Lettuce and Spinach freshly harvested from our garden! It wasn't much but enough to feed a family of three! And still got some growing for the next time we want some fresh salads! There's nothing better than a freshly harvested veggies straight from your garden! And it taste much better than the ones that you can buy from the store. You are so certain that they are safe to eat and not worrying what kind of chemical was sprayed on them since we grew it our self!

Today, we are gonna plant our Tomatoes and some other vegetables in the garden, now that we are certain it's not gonna get cold anymore. They can finally grow big and hopefully it will give us lots of fruits! We started our veggies from seeds, they've been growing in a little pot, and it's about time to transplant them! Our banana pepper is starting to bud already, and it's still in a little pot! Some of the veggies that we started from seeds this year are Brandywine and Roma Tomatoes, Banana Peppers, Filipino Okra, Filipino hot pepper, Lettuce, Spinach, Radish, and Potato. We still have to plant some corn when we can figure out the best place to to put them.

I'm planning on planting some water spinach, my hubby was growing them inside the house before through Hydroponics and it did really well, but we had to stop it because we were running out of space in the house. So this year I'm gonna try to plant them outside in the container, and when winter comes I can just easily take it inside and put it in our indoor greenhouse which my hubby purchased two weeks ago.

Ahhhh, I'm so excited for our veggies to grow well and big! I can wait to eat them! Hopefully they will give us enough fruit for us to harvest this year!
